The noise level of the street-facing rooms could be bothersome for light sleepers. the front desk staff could have been more welcoming and attentive at times, but overall, it did not detract from the positive experience.

The location of this hotel is simply fantastic. It is nestled in a quiet street, yet still conveniently close to a vibrant night food market and the bustling Jungceylon Shopping Mall. You'll find an array of mouthwatering street food stalls and great restaurants nearby. Plus, it's just a short stroll to the famous Bangla Road and the pristine beach, making it the perfect central spot for exploring the area.

I felt very safe during my stay at Alexander Hotel. The hotel's location was perfect, and the staff were friendly. The rooftop pool was a private oasis, and the breakfast served at the hotel was absolutely excellent. The room may have been basic, but it had a hot shower and clean towels. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was impeccable, and there was a lovely area downstairs to sit and relax. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
